Spring Equinox

Rama Ji

Happy Equinox Day!
From this day, in Delhi, it is summer or early summer.

Along with such a nice summer breeze,
I was luckily invited to an wonderful event.

Last night Bharatanatyam
 with Shenai

Tonight, Oddisi with Veena

Tomorrow, Khatak with Sitar

…….

It is outside venue, so under the moon and stars,
we enjoy the Indian classical dance and music instruments.

This dancer in the photos,  Bharatanatyam dancer, Rama Ji

From the eyeballs, fingertips to tiptoes, all have its own role to play and it is so perfect, however, there is no tension in it, it was just graceful and charming.
The expression of hands thrilled me and took my breath.

India attracts me more and more deeply......♥♥

The musician in the last photo is a satvik sitar player,
he rocked with the tabla, like a modern rock star.

For your information, this venue is Sri Ravi Shankar Center, built to commemorate Ravi Shankar Ji who is worldly famous for his Sitar music. Also father of Norah Jones.
